Is it expensive to book through a travel advisor? Do you only book luxury?
Only if you want to. While I have access to incredible luxury properties, I also book boutique hotels, stylish mid-range options, and familiar brands. My goal is to match you with the right stay for your budget, style, and trip goals.
Having the luxury of working with a travel advisor doesn't mean you can only book luxury with a travel advisor.
In some cases, booking with a travel advisor can save you money. In most cases, booking with a travel advisor can provide more value to your trip.
Why should I book through you instead of doing it myself?
Even if you know what hotel you want, booking with me gives you access to a network of partnerships (like Virtuoso, Belmond Bellini Club, Hyatt Privé, and more) you wouldn't have access to otherwise. Advisors are also prioritized above credit card companies for room upgrades, so save those points for flights.
If you don't know what hotel, struggle with decision fatigue, or just don't have time, I can curate hotel recommendations to your style and budget - at no extra cost.
And I’m here to help with upgrades, special requests, and real-time support if anything goes wrong.
I can take it a step further and make it a full trip.
What’s the difference between a travel advisor and a travel booking site like Expedia?
I’m not just a search engine. I offer concierge-level support and human insight to ensure your trip is smooth and tailored to your style. I work directly with hotel contacts, track price drops, and advocate for you before, during, and after your stay.
What if I already booked my hotel?
If your reservation is refundable or was made in the past 30 days, I may still be able to step in - either by rebooking under my name (would only do this for the same or lower price) or becoming the Agent of Record. This can unlock perks, allow me to monitor rates, or simply be someone in your corner if something goes awry. If your booking isn’t commissionable, I can still assist with other parts of your trip like transfers, tours, or dining recs. Keep me in your back pocket for next time!
Can I still use my [xxx] rewards number to still earn points?
Yes! I can add your member number to your profile and apply it when booking, so you continue earning points. The same applies to flights.
What’s a commissionable property?
A commissionable hotel pays me a small fee for handling your booking, at no added cost to you. Most 3- to 5-star hotels are commissionable. If a property isn’t, I’ll let you know, and we can explore other options or apply a small planning fee depending on your service tier. I will always be transparent.
Can you help with honeymoons or group trips?
Yes, and I love working on them! Whether it's a honeymoon, milestone birthday, family reunion, or girls’ getaway, I’ll help you create something seamless, memorable, and fun, with the right mix of structure and flexibility.
Can you book flights?
Yes, for international flights in premium economy and above. Our partner provides white-glove support if delays or cancellations occur, which is invaluable these days.
Do you offer travel insurance?
Absolutely. I always recommend it, especially for international or non-refundable trips. We partner with Faye Insurance, which offers traveler-friendly policies and Cancel For Any Reason coverage (if purchased within 14 days of your first trip-related expense).
How far in advance should I start planning?
Ideally, 3-6 months in advance, or longer for peak seasons and popular destinations. Last-minute travel is doable too, but rush fees may apply depending on the scope of planning.
